A super expat family who now live in Amazing Abu Dhabi are hoping to engage a professional nanny who has SEN experience / qualifications for their sole charge nanny vacancy commencing June 2025. The role involves caring for their delightful & funny twins who are currently age 6 years old, a boy and a girl. Their daughter loves learning and loves gymnastics and netball. She loves math, languages and is very kind. The son is very affectionate and warm. He loves cars and imaginary play. He has dyspraxia so works with an OT within a sensory framework diet. The children attend the same private school (British Curricular) and the nanny will do school pickups and drop offs, so a confident driver is essential. In relation to their son, it is essential for the family that the candidate takes responsibility to coordinate and implement SEN therapies and strategies (recommended by therapists) for their son and to ensure programmes are followed and progress tracked. To that end, they would like someone that has dealt with children who have SEN needs. The family are keen that the ideal candidate is just focused on the children, which is why they have a chef and housekeeper who looks after the house and makes healthy nutritious meals. Relatedly, the time the children are at school is to be used to plan and support the family to ensure the twins are provided a loving, supportive and enriching environment. There is travel involved in this position & they would love a nanny to be able to commit to the role on a long-term basis, if you have worked in the middle east before in previous nanny positions this would also be looked upon favourably. Fluent spoken and written English to assist with continued language development, homework and liaising with other practitioners is essential. The parents are both working, are highly educated and love the arts. The family home is full of colour and fun and they would warmly welcome a Nanny who is positive, imaginative warm and inspirational.
