This is a Nanny vacancy for a family who are based in Dazzling Dubai, they have 2 vacancies they are seeking to fill. 1 is for a professional Nanny (early years) & the other for a professional Governess (primary education) BTW – if you have a friend who you work well with and who would suit the older children vacancy then certainly share it with them as the Governess & Nanny will work closely together. The Nanny will take care of the girls age 4 yrs & 2 yrs, (there are older girls age 7 and 8 years who will be cared for by the Governess )The Nanny & governess will share an apartment offsite where you each have your own bedroom and bathroom, the apartment is a 5 minute walk from the family’s home located in the Festival city neighbourhood which has the reputation of being one of the most prestigious, family orientated communities in Dubai, with lots of amenities to cater for all interests. The family are expecting a new born in May who will have a maternity nurse to begin with, as time goes on (in about a year) you will relinquish the care of the 4 yr old to the governess & take on the care of the youngest child. All the girls are bright and energetic, and active. The 4-year-old will be joining her older sisters at full time school September 2025. The role requires a Nanny who is qualified and experienced, proactive, imaginative and nurturing, and skilled at ensuring all mile stones are met. The Nanny is expected to develop engaging activities routines for the children that educational and enjoyable. The children wake up early 6:30 am and are usually in bed by 20H00, your start and end time may vary from day to day and there are other household staff that help cover early morning / nights. You will be on duty 6 days a week up to 12 hours each day You do not need to be a driver. But you must be a competent swimmer, there is a swimming pool at the family home and at you’re apartment complex. If you have worked as a Nanny & in an early year setting (U.K. curricular) that would be viewed very favourably, you do need to be good fun and active as these children are constantly on the go and you need to be able to match their insurmountable energy & enthusiasm for life!
