A welcoming and well-organised family based in in Winchester are seeking a confident, kind, and proactive live-in Nanny to support their two bright and engaging daughters, aged 5 and 7. The family are long-standing Kensington Nannies clients and are looking for someone exceptional to join them in a long-term, fulfilling role. This is a live-in position with private accommodation offered in a self-contained annex flat attached to the family’s home. For a local candidate, a live-out arrangement may be considered, with adjusted hours from midday to 8:00 pm and full days during school holidays or when needed. Both parents are originally from the USA and have made the UK their home for many years. The girls are active, social, and full of personality — the younger enjoys dance and drama, while the elder loves sport and thrives on a busy routine. They’re both at the same local school, just a 10-minute drive from the house, so a confident auto driver is essential. The role is varied, rewarding, and best suited to a Nanny who brings energy, organisation, and educational awareness. The girls are academically curious, so the family is seeking someone who can encourage them beyond their year group level in a playful and motivating way. This is very much a Nanny/children’s PA role — you’ll be responsible for managing school schedules, arranging play dates and activities, liaising with schools, tutors, dentists, and friends’ parents, as well as overseeing the girls’ belongings, wardrobes, school supplies, and creative materials. You’ll also take care of their meals and contribute to general household smooth-running, with help from a daily cleaner/housekeeper. The house is routine-led but warm, and the family values a candidate who can work autonomously and intuitively, without needing close oversight. Mum works from home and is often present in the mornings, while Dad lives in London during the week and visits on weekends. While you’re never on duty at weekends, there may be occasional weekday trips to London with the girls to see him — always during your standard hours. The girls are up at 6:30 am, so your day will begin at 7:00 am to help with their morning routine, breakfast, and school preparation. Afternoons are for homework, activities, and relaxed time together before dinner, bath, and bed.
