A busy and family-oriented household is seeking an experienced and energetic nanny to care for their two children: a 3-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl. The little boy loves music, imaginative play, reading and numbers. They would love a candidate to encourage him to embrace some more outdoor activities. The little girl is very active – she loves playing with balls, reading and music. The family is committed to creating a child-development-focused environment where the nanny will play an active role in nurturing the children’s growth and independence. This is a long-term position for someone passionate about early childhood development, fostering independence, and creating enriching experiences for the children. The family values open communication and would love to find a nanny who is direct, friendly, and proactive. You will be required to occasionally stay with the family at their country home in the New Forest once every two months (usually for a couple of nights during the week). Travel arrangements will be provided. The family values a nanny who is proactive in planning and engaging with the children and is interested in providing them with a variety of experiences to stimulate their development. Mum is currently working part-time and studying, so you will have the sole care of the children while she may be around intermittently. An auto driver is required for school drops and pick-ups. Hours: Monday, Wed, Friday 8am – 6pm and 2 half days Tues and Thursday 1pm – 6pm with 1 fixed 5-hour babysitting per week (most likely Thursday).
