This is a Gem of a job in Magical Istanbul where you will be working in tandem with a fun and kind Bilingual German & English-speaking Nanny who was placed by Kensington Nannies & rates this family as excellent employers. We have worked with them since their eldest was born, they are a dynamic entrepreneurial couple, who are generous and caring, heavily invest in their nannies. They have two children, a bubbly little Girl age 3 (preschool) & a charming little boy age 6 yrs (Full time school). The children both speak German thus the desire for a German speaking nanny, they might consider a Spanish speaker if the chemistry was right and introduce the children to a new language. Everyone in the home also speaks English. Whilst the Nannies offsite 2 bed 2 bath flat is shared there is only ever 1 nanny at the flat, with the on-duty nanny “sleeping in” at the family home where there is a private bedroom and bathroom for the on-duty nanny. The work week is shared between the nannies to ensure that the family have 24 hr cover working in organized blocks of 2- 3 consecutive days, alternating between daytime care and overnight care or a combination of both, “sleep in “shifts are typically grouped together followed by day(s) off allowing for proper rest & recovery, The children are fit happy and healthy & have had Kensington nannies since birth , thriving on the structured approach of their professional nanny The 3-yr. old girl is the life and soul of the party & living her best life with just everything she encounters being new exciting and worth exploring, she loves imaginative play that involves her teddies and soft toys and as she is so curious and busy she absolutely loves a good restorative afternoon nap. The little boy has a super circle of friends and is popular with his peers, he enjoys robots, Lego, does Judo on the weekend in addition to swimming and Tennis. Both children’s days are busy, so they usually flop into bed at 7 pm each night and are good sleepers (only wake up if ill etc) There is international travel in School holidays & some weekends and proxy parenting if both parents are travelling simultaneously. All in All this is really a splendid opportunity for a vibrant engaging Nanny who is looking for a family who champions their employees creating an environment where you will flourish enjoy new experiences and be valued.
