Key Requirements:
- Fluent English speaker with the ability to provide a fully immersive English-speaking environment
- Previous experience caring for multiple children of similar ages in a private household
- Warm, nurturing and genuinely passionate about child development
- Confident supporting language acquisition through play, conversation, reading and everyday routines
- Experienced planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and outings
- Confident swimmer
- Driver essential (for countryside driving during school holidays)
- Happy to travel with the family during most school holidays
- EU passport preferred; visa sponsorship available for the right candidate

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced, engaging nanny to join a kind French family who place enormous value on creating a happy childhood filled with learning, adventure and meaningful family time. With their much-loved English-speaking nanny returning to Australia after several happy years, the family is now looking for someone equally enthusiastic, nurturing and committed to continuing the children’s English language journey. All three children, B7, B5 and G3 already speak and understand English beautifully, and your role will be to maintain and further develop their fluency through conversation, imaginative play, stories and everyday life. Both parents are bilingual in French and English and are warm, respectful employers who see their nanny as an integral member of the household. A part-time English-speaking housekeeper is employed three days each week, allowing your focus to remain firmly on the children’s care, education and wellbeing. The family loves travelling throughout France during the school holidays, and you will accompany them on many of these trips. Whether enjoying the countryside in Normandy, sunshine in Provence or family ski holidays in the Alps, you’ll become an important part of creating happy childhood memories while maintaining the children’s routines away from home.
