These are repeat clients of Kensington Nannies are seeking an exceptional Early Years Nanny to care for a 2.5-year-old boy and his eight-month-old baby sister, who will turn one in February 2027. When their older children, now 12 and 10, were younger, the family invested in an Early Years Nanny who gave them an excellent foundation during their formative years. They are now looking to recreate that experience for their youngest two children and are seeking someone who can bring the same level of care, creativity and developmental focus. Neither child will attend nursery, so the Nanny will play a particularly important role in their early years. This is much more than a care position; the family are looking for someone who will create an engaging early learning environment, introduce age-appropriate activities and experiences and thoughtfully support each child as they reach their developmental milestones. The successful Nanny will be happy, energetic, curious and imaginative, with a proactive approach and a genuine passion for Early Years development. They will enjoy planning the children’s days, finding creative ways to learn through play and gradually preparing the older child for school. For the 2.5-year-old boy, the Nanny will support his growing speech, vocabulary, independence and confidence, including toilet training and developing his ability to listen and follow instructions. Early phonics, counting, mark-making, stories and simple school-readiness activities will be introduced naturally through play and everyday experiences. For the baby girl, the focus will be on nurturing her development through play, supporting weaning, motor skills, sensory development and early language. The Nanny will understand the importance of following her individual rhythm while providing plenty of opportunities for exploration and interaction.
