Picture pink sandy beaches, turquoise water and best of all no winter, that’s just a tiny snap shot of life in beautiful Bermuda. This is a long-term position caring for a little girl who has just turned 1. The role is live out, so whilst the family will accommodate you to begin with, you will then be expected to find & fund your own accommodation in the long term, thus the generous tax-free salary. The Parents are both British and are seeking a likeminded candidate who can provide sole charge care, with experienced and qualifications who can naturally and skilfully ensure that all their daughter’s day to day needs, early year’s needs, and milestones are met. You will be on duty, 45 hours spread over 5 days each week. Whilst on duty you will develop a routine of learning that happens through structured play in a way that follows EYFS without feeling like lessons, so imaginative and creativity are a must. You will also plan, problem solve and proactively take on tasks that pertain to the little girl: booking appointments with dentists’ doctors etc, managing her supplies, ordering clothes, packing for her trips when you are all travelling etc. This role allows for enormous autonomy and would suit a nanny who is practical and thinks one step ahead. There will be travel back to the U.K with them so you will have the opportunity to see your own friends & family and you will also accompany them on other international trips. A visa will be provided at the families expense, to fulfil the visa criteria a candidate must have a child related qualification, early years degree or similar is ideal. They do have a little dog, so you must like animals too.
