Working with a happy, sociable 17-month-old girl in the heart of Mayfair, this is a beautifully structured weekday role for an experienced Norland Nanny who enjoys working closely with parents and becoming a trusted part of a professional household. The little girl is the family’s first child and is described as a very contented, smiley and outgoing toddler. She is curious, inquisitive and easily engaged, with a good routine already established. Her days include little clubs and classes, as well as plenty of age-appropriate play, outings and activities. She has had an excellent start, having been cared for by a Norland-trained maternity nurse from birth, and there is also a part-time Norland Nanny who looks after her at weekends. The successful Nanny will therefore be joining an established childcare structure and will work closely with Mum to provide consistency throughout the week. Mum is particularly keen to find someone professional, mature and collaborative. She is very flexible around the exact hours and is willing to structure the working week in a way that suits the right Nanny. The standard hours are 9.00am–7.00pm, but an earlier finish at 6.00pm could be arranged, and there is also the possibility of a shorter Friday or half day. The family are open to a working week of approximately 47.5–50 hours, provided the hours are sensibly structured. The family travel periodically, including skiing during the winter and a shorter summer holiday. Travel is not extensive, but a Nanny who enjoys travelling with a family would be welcome to accompany them.
