Rate: £55000-£65000 (Candidate dependent)
Days: Monday – Friday (8:00 am -06:30 pm) with an option of a 5 pm finish on a Friday
Key Requirements:
- Experience with new-borns and toddlers is essential
- A calm but playful nature
- Native English speaker preferred (for language development)
- Driving is a bonus but not essential
- Nursery or preschool experience would be a plus
- Occasional travel with the family (France, Scotland, Europe – up to 10 days at a time)
A warm, down-to-earth family of four are looking for their very first nanny to become part of their family. They’re hoping to find someone experienced, caring, and fun — a nanny who genuinely loves what they do and will bring lots of warmth, creativity, and structure to the little ones’ days. Their eldest is a bright, gentle and happy 2.5-year-old with an impressive vocabulary and a love for scooters, books, and anything with wheels! He’s fully potty trained and currently goes to nursery five days a week (soon to be reduced to three). The family are keen for his nanny to help broaden his tastes (especially with veggies!) and keep up his love of learning through creative play — think treasure hunts, outdoor adventures, and imaginative games. A new baby brother arrived in September 2025, and Mum will be on maternity leave until June 2026, so there will be some shared care at first before the nanny takes on sole charge of both boys.
