A warm, close-knit family in Wandsworth are seeking a caring, proactive and experienced Nanny to care for their two little ones: a happy, chatty two-year-old boy and his newborn baby sister. The position is due to start in mid to late November, with a handover from the family’s current Nanny to ensure a smooth transition. Mum is currently on maternity leave and will be at home with the baby until she returns to work in March 2027. Initially, the role will focus on building a strong bond with their little boy, before naturally developing into a sole-charge position caring for both children. Their son is a kind-hearted, energetic little boy with a wonderful zest for life. He loves dinosaurs, lions, Peppa Pig and a good sing-song! He enjoys being independent, and his parents would love a Nanny who will encourage this, supporting him as he develops confidence and learns to do things for himself. He is not yet attending nursery, although this is planned for next year, so his days are currently centred around play, imagination, exploration and age-appropriate activities. The family take a calm, considered approach to parenting, following the children’s individual needs and introducing new experiences when they are ready. They would therefore suit a Nanny who is intuitive, patient and nurturing, with a genuine understanding of early childhood development. As the baby grows, the role will involve supporting her development and introducing solids when she is ready. By the time Mum returns to work, the baby will be approaching weaning age and bottles will have been introduced, making strong, practical weaning experience essential.
