This is an opportunity for a set of sparkling brand-new Rota Nannies, it will commence October 2026 when the fabulous Maternity Nurse completes her contract. You will be taking over the care of a little boy born April 2026 who has an established routine, is fit and healthy and by all accounts a smiley contented little guy. The New Rota Nannies will be adept at supporting little babies, recognising when to adjust their routines, implement weaning etc. provide structure, nurture and all-round early years care. The Client has specified that the incoming candidate(s) should be qualified and experienced, have outstanding verifiable references & longevity in previous roles indicating you are experienced with infants & early years practices. In addition to your childcare qualification you should have in the region of 12 – 17 years of consecutive Nanny experience post graduating from your childcare degree/ diploma. The family are seeking uncomplicated professionals who take pride & continued enjoyment in their chosen career. To blend well into this busy household, you should have an amenable personality and a helpful attitude. As it is Rota you should also be able to communicate well with your counterpart and the other longstanding professional Nannies who care for the older children (placed by Kensington Nannies) and the wider household team. Such is the nature of many Rota Nanny positions, to succeed you need to be capable of working in sole charge, yet simultaneously content & confident working with parents. This is a happy home where everybody pitches in to assist with the smooth running of the home, as a result it goes without saying that you should have a similar attitude. The good news is that previous Rota experience is not a pre-requisite, conditional that you fulfil all the other essential requirements listed and have loads of stamina, an astute ability to be intuitive, and a master at navigating unspoken cues! Of course, candidates who have previously successfully worked as Rota Nannies will also be considered most favourably. There is international travel every school holiday, this is when the Rota schedule can change to accommodate and avoid swapping mid travel. They do spend some of the summer on a yacht, so you need to have good sea legs and alternate Xmas’s you will be on duty. This is a pet friendly household with a much-loved cat & dog, you do not need to be a driver. Applicants DBS & 1st aid must be current prior to interview & trial with the family, so if you haven’t updated your documents recently get going with that paperwork asap. As Rota vacancies are very popular in the market, due to the volume of C.V.s received from candidates only seeking rota roles, in this instance unfortunately the Agency will only respond to applications that align with the client’s key requirements.
