A wonderful position for a qualified, experienced Nanny to join a private family in Ealing, caring for their bright and engaging two-year-old son. This role would suit someone who combines a strong educational background with a naturally gentle, playful approach and has particular expertise in childhood allergies, food aversions and early years development. The little boy was born two months prematurely and has experienced some challenges with food from an early age. He has multiple allergies to milk, sesame and nuts and is currently progressing through the egg ladder. His Nanny must therefore have excellent knowledge of allergy management, cross-contamination prevention and kitchen hygiene, with the confidence to prepare meals safely and follow the family’s guidance and any relevant medical advice. He was weaned later than usual, at around 15 months, and is still developing his acceptance of different foods and textures. His parents are looking for someone who understands the importance of a patient, positive and pressure-free approach to mealtimes. He is a bright little boy who benefits from an engaged, observant and imaginative caregiver. His days might include music groups, swimming lessons, exploring the local area, reading, singing and discovering new things together. Whether counting cars on a walk or encouraging him to try something new through play, his Nanny should be able to nurture his curiosity and development without making his days feel overly structured.
