A warm, down-to-earth single-parent family is seeking an exceptional Rota Nanny / PA / Home Manager to join their household and provide long-term support to their twin daughters turning 6 in April this year. This role works in rotation with an experienced Kensington-based nanny, forming a close, collaborative team. The family is looking for someone who can offer longevity, commitment, and genuine care. Mum is a partner in a law firm and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. As such, she is heavily reliant on the nanny’s support. When Mum is feeling well and not working, she is very hands-on and child-focused, and enjoys being actively involved in all aspects of the girls’ lives. The successful candidate must therefore be comfortable working alongside Mum, blending into the background when appropriate, supporting her practically and emotionally, and stepping confidently into sole charge when Mum is unwell or unavailable. This is not a formal staffed household. The family is looking for a true all-rounder and team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves—whether that’s emptying the dishwasher, cooking a family meal, making Mum a cup of tea, driving her to appointments, managing household tasks, or being silly and having fun with the girls. The girls are happy, active, and healthy. They were born prematurely, and one of the twins has SEN and neurodiverse needs. She attends regular physiotherapy and occupational therapy appointments and has daily exercises to support her fine and gross motor skills, balance, and core stability. The nanny will be responsible for overseeing these routines.
