This family is recruiting an upbeat, positive personality who holds a childcare qualification & has previous Nanny experience working in London to assist with their 2 children; a girl aged 6 & her younger brother who is 2. The youngest’s Filipino Nanny will be joining them on the trip for additional support, however the incoming Nanny that they intend to hire through Kensington Nannies will lead the day & all educational planning & outings. They live permanently in Abu Dhabi & always employ a qualified nanny when visiting the UK during the holiday periods. They have a flat in London where you will have your own room, they will do other trips to Europe (the locations, accommodation & itinerary is yet to be confirmed) but you may have to share a room with 1 of the children. The job does require extreme flexibility so whilst they are pretty structured arrangements they can change so you need to be able to go with the flow. They would like a Nanny who has the stamina to work every day of the booking, understandably as the booking may be 4 or 6 weeks you may find that for the safety of the children & for your own health & wellbeing you will need a period/ days off during the duration of the booking, but they would love to enter into the agreement that you believe that you are able to work straight through the booking dates without becoming too exhausted so are really looking for a high energy candidate who has successfully done similar bookings in the past. Travelling between London, Braunschweig, and Majorca will introduce the baby to different environments. The older children are 5 and 3 and the French nanny takes care of their day to day wellbeing whilst also chatting to the 1yr old in French so that she is exposed to French. You will take care of the day to day needs and development of the 1 year old and chat to the 5 & 3-year-old in Russian or Arabic (as the case may be) so that they are exposed to your home language. The home is fully staffed. You will have you own private bedroom and bathroom within a shared staff flat, which is separate from the family home but within the grounds of the family residence. There is travel involved in this position including summers on the yacht, so you must be able to swim & be ok on boats. Your accommodation is an offsite flat which will be shared with the ABA therapist who is employed solely by the family to work their 6-yr. old, she is a lovely young lady who is originally from Brazil has great energy and speaks English & Portuguese. There is an independent building adjacent to the family home; which is being set up as a therapy studio (for the 6 yr old) and equipped with a sensory playroom for all the children to enjoy.  The siblings spend time together and whilst you will undertake the usual nurture Nanny / educator role of supporting & enhancing academic, physical, social & emotional wellbeing of the children you will have the company & collaboration of the lovely therapist during your working day. He is medicated, and it is essential that you are detail orientated as you liaise with tutors & therapists & you also write an “electronic report/ diary” that gives feedback to his doctor & ABA therapist noting mood swings, sleep problems, eating etc. so that they may ascertain progress & also any required adjustments to his medication, this also serves as a handover document to the incoming Rota Nanny. His sibling is at a mainstream fulltime school, leaving home at 08:00 (Mum does the morning school run) occasionally you will be required to do after school pick up. You must be neatly presented and well-spoken as you will be representing the family and dealing with teachers, medical practioners etc. in addition to being exceptionally patient, full of stamina and being comfortable on boats, planes & helicopters.
